Cat on Monday

"The smallest feline is a masterpiece."
- Leonardo da Vinci

I always wished I could draw and paint

sadly

it's only by a computer program

can I attempt a sad impression of an artist

Happy Monday to you!

Ahhh, Caterhine, me too...one of the talents I missed out on. I must have been playing hooky when God was handing that ability out :) because I certainly missed any of it.
Even though it is on the computer the images are lovely!

This program you have does a good job - or is it only the fact that Banjo is absolutely GORGEOUS?

A print made out of any of the pictures you made would look precious in a frame.

Have a wonderful day!

That is one thing I wish I knew how to do as well. Banjo is a lovely kitty--no matter how you capture him!

Happy Monday to you and Banjo! Love the artist impressions :)

You are so talented in other areas that I think you should keep trying. It's in there, somewhere :) Hugs, Deb=^..^=x5+1 little calico

I wish I could paint as well. I've watched shows where someone shows you step by step how to paint something and they make it look so easy. I put a paintbrush to a canvas and it looks like a childs work.
I like what you can do with the computer though, that second one is my favorite. But of course any picture of Banjo is fabulous

Oh, Catherine, they are Masterpieces!!! I grew up with 6 cats at 'all times'... that was my dad's limit for my mom.. :-)

Then I let each of my sons have a cat growing up. Sadly.. I only have one son left at home and only one cat. But how that cat loves my son and cheers him up whenever he needs it! :-) She meows at me when I get on him to do things, like clean his room or do his homework. Then she runs over and gives him a kiss, like she's saying 'it's ok, ignor that mean lady'. Seriously!!!!

Love the beautiful pictures you choose too! Have a wonderful week!!!
HUGS,
Coreen

Banjo looks very majestic. Who cares if the painting is only faux!

From the mum-

I grew up desperately wanting to be an artist, but totally lacking in the artistic skill required. Oh well, I can still look, right :)

Banjo was made to be painted. He is too handsome for words.

He does look so content.
What one may lack in one department I'm sure you make up tenfold in another.
Enjoy your Monday.

Aw, Banjo is such a good subject for an artist! I love the expression on the second one...so sweet! I've always wanted to draw and paint too, but I have to rely on the computer as well. Your little pieces of art are beautiful!

You know.... you could always get some inexpensive paints...and just give it a try.... for fun. Or why not take a few lessons.

One time I painted a girl's face ... by looking at a model in a catalogue....I was shocked that I could make it look pretty good. Not masters quality or anything special, mind you...but, I thought pretty darn amazing for a first try.

You have the best model ever for your computer art!

I also wish I had some sort of talent with drawing/painting...alas, I do not.

The program is really cool, though...Banjo is a work of art any day!

I think you must be very talented to get the best out of computer art, or does Banjo do all the hard work with his elegant posing. X

Me too. I come from a family of artists and I can't draw, not even a little bit. But you do a pretty darn good job on the computer!
I just noticed on the left side of my screen that you are reading Secret Daughter. I was given that book for Christmas and I haven't started it yet. Are you liking it so far?
