Things that make me feel old...

Riding in the back seat of the car
with Kurtis driving and
Wayne in the passenger seat
makes me feel old...

The fact that I have to take heartburn medication
anytime I have a little of 'the bubbly'
or anything remotely spicy
makes me feel old...

Because I have to dye the
silver landing strip
in my hair every 5 weeks
makes me feel old...

That I have to wear
progressive lenses
makes me feel old...

The fact that my sweet baby boy
joy of my life
heart of my soul

is turning 20 years old today
makes me feel old...

Happy Birthday Kurtis!

Happy birthday to your son Kurtis.
As far as the feeling old there are remedies to it not being so complicated... first forgo the hair dye and return it to its natural state(good for Jamie Lee Curtis why not us) look at all the beauty you can see from the back seat as you drive along plus you get to observe your two favourite men in front of you.The heartburn part you might have to stick with the Gaviscon especially with all the Holiday foods we are about to have laid before us.

Twenty???! Oh my! Happy Birthday, Kurtis!!

I always say that I feel old and then I look around at others my age and I think I've held up pretty well. It's all perspective, pally. I know, I know, I'm feeling the same eeks and creaks. Heck, I get stiff SLEEPING! :0

Oh I know just how you feel! I'm sure many feel the same way!

My eldest is forty five and the next is forty three and my baby, love of my life is thirty one.

I don't feel old enough to have kids this age but I must be because I've got them!!

A lot of things make me feel old these days! Things that happened when I was younger are showing up in my nieces' history books. They didn't know who John Lennon was, when he was on the news last week. One of them said, "wasn't he in the Rolling Stones"? Well, at least she had heard of the Rolling Stones!
Anyway... Happy Birthday to Kurtis!

Happy Birthday, Kurtis !! Time marches on, huh. My youngest just turned 45, Dec 12. Too have 3 sons middle aged, that's old. But I don't feel it though. My hair hasn't been blonde in a long time, but just looks naturally frosted now. You are still young, hang in there...lol

Happy birthday to Kurtis! We hope he has a wonderful celebration.

Don't get me started on the heartburn problems (and gall stones in my case). LOL.

Growing older is better than the alternative, though. :-)

20 years ago today you gave me the best gift that I could ever receive. Your son, my beautiful Grandson, Kurtis. From the moment I layed eyes on him, my heart swelled with love for him. He has turned out to perfection. What a joy he is. Give him huge hugs and kisses for me and my love to you and our boys.......MOM

Best thing I ever did though!

Somebody gotta be a back seat driver. I got a GPS and so now have two womens voices telling me where to go. Anyway, when you hit sixty they'll tell you its the "new forty" so you get a bonus twenty years in there somehow... :)
