That is nice Catherine, here the white world is slowly turning to green. I can see my garden again.

I wish you a lovely new year's eve.
I don't know the translation for the evening of december 31? Here in the netherlands we name it ''Oudejaarsavond'' but the translation gives new years eve.
But no problem have a great evening and a happy new year.

Love
Tanja

Oh, no Catherine! Do you have winter blues so soon?

What lovely photographs! I especially like Banjo and the Christmas Cracker. I didn't know they were part of a Canadian Christmas. :-) We had a really hard time finding them this year...We found some at Pier One, but they weren't of the same caliber that we were used to.

Have a Happy New Year!

These are beautiful photos, but truth be told, we'd take some of your snow in this part of Colorado. We've barely seen a flake this year. But we did get Christmas crackers, since Canadian grandma and grandpa came for Christmas. Happy New Year!

Oh, dear...... I can see you are in for a loooooong several months.....that colour is miles away for us Canucks....

Do you craft? How about making something green? .... do you paint? knit? sew? .. did you save me any great foil wrapping paper? hahahhahah.. cut me some little squares? .... lol. It's kinda like paper doll therapy for me I think. I just like cutting up the little squares...getting ready for making some next Christmas..

Oh...and I'm baking up a storm... love baking on cold days. Using up the 'nog... making eggnog loaves to freeze...for July.... and tomorrow.. biscotti. Need something in the freezer for Greg's lunches...

Yes Yes Green is good. Very good. I somewhat vaguely remember the concept from out here on the snow blasted and buried plains of southeastern Minnesota.

Mmmm, green. I don't know....i so love this white. There's not so much white in winter in Holland. Beats grey.Hoping some cold weather in January and then that green is welcome!
