Weekend Accomplishments

The weekend is quickly coming to an end.
Did you accomplish lots this weekend?
I did!

Along with avoiding going out in the snow all weekend,
I...

watched several movies:
Enchanted (Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey)
Hairspray (Nikki Blonsky, John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken)
The Mirror Has Two Faces (Barbara Streisand, Jeff Bridges)
Wuthering Heights (Juliette Binoche, Ralph Fiennes)
Last Holiday (Queen Latifah, LL Cool J, Timothy Hutton)

crafted 8 Christmas cards...

made 2 dozen sugar cookies...

snoozed with Banjo...

all that's left is catching up with blog friends...
of which I shall spend the rest of the evening doing.

:) Sweet Dreams!

I just love the 'holiday feel' of your blog! It's always so relaxing to stop by and see what you're up too--We had a warm sunny weekend here in Virginia, it's going to change, but it won't bring snow, just rain.

Wow, you sure were busy, but I'm sure Banjo was happy with his part!

I sometimes wish it would snow here so i would have an excuse to stay home all weekend.
I loved the movie 'Hairspray', perfect with the sugar cookies.
The cards look very impressive. XX

Love your cards and the heart cookies but the best sounds like snoozing with Banjo! I've just spent three looooonnnggg days at Disneyland and although I had a lot of fun, I am excited to go home to my hubby and furbabies tomorrow.

Beautiful cards. So creative. I used to make handmade cards, but never anything this lovely. You've inspired me to try again, perhaps. I love Amy Adams movies...

You have such a pretty blog, warm, creative and touched with grace.

You did a lot more than I did this weekend!

We still don't have snow, but I've lived in Montreal long enough to know it's coming very soon...

I admire your photography. I also chuckled when I saw the word Banjo in the left sidebar. It reminded me of Benjo in Japan which sounds like banjo but it means: "Toilet."

My you were a busy gal this weekend; I totally feel lazy in comparison.
Allow me to introduce myself. I was on Bossy Betty's blog and liked your comment so I thought I'd investigate because, well because I can!
Love your blog. Feel free to stop by my neck of the woods; we have no snow in North CArolina; only temps. in the 70's all week!

Those cards are great. I especially like the last set of them. The cookies sure look yummy too. I think the best part of your weekend sounds like the snoozing with Banjo though. I didn't get nearly as much done as I would have liked. Hopefully this weekend will be better

Isn't that version of Wuthering Heights so intense and amazingly good? I love that movie.

I would like to nibble one of those chocolate nibs off the top of one of those cookies. Actually, I would love to nibble away at that whole cookie. Actually, maybe two or three or six.
