ACK! Oh my--I am not envious of that, Catherine! It is 70 degrees here today and we are going without coats again. I'm not ready to shovel yet!
These Christmas decorations are lovely. We think it is alright to put them up. Better early than the last minute rush.
Wow! It certainly looks like Christmas tree weather!
Oh no - not snow! Makes you want to put the tree up doesn't it? Here we have a huge Christmas tree growing business and everyone puts theirs up real early so they can be busy working on cutting, shipping and selling the trees right up to the week of Christmas. Most trees will be up within the next week or so.
I LOVE the weather but no decorations yet, please!!
Go for it. I would love to see it, With that weather I would be thinking the same. I wonder if we will get it next? We always cut one down across the road so I have to wait awhile but I will be putting the kitchen one up soon. Deb =^..^=x5
WOW! Hey, I say put up the tree, I would love to have ours up all year long!!!
Really? Oh my goodness!!!!
Oh We are so glad we are in the sunny desert, where the sun is shining and I am going to sit outside with my tea. I love you lots.MOM
Oh, golly gosh! Does look wintry. Christmas decorations would certainly be appropriate and enjoyable. Down here, we still have leaves to clear, but will probably get our tree the last Saturday of November.
My first response was - no!! Put it up. Then I saw the snow - and yes! DEFINITELY put it up!! ;o)December goes by so fast anyway... Merry Christmas!!
Brrrr! I hope Banjo is in the mood to snuggle. I will think warm thoughts for you.As for the Christmas tree.... I don't know, I do like the photos you put up. I must also admit, I have been listening to Christmas music.Stay warm if you can,Kat
Ohhh noes.... not already! I suppose it is more or less time for us Canucks to expect some.... but, darn it anyway... it's too sooooon!Absolutely.... put it up! I always threaten to put mine up early if it snows.... and... after I take it down in January...if it is snowing til late in March or April...or even in May some years...I think about putting it up yet again.... why not? It's only work and fun.....who's to tell us we can't enjoy our sparkly stuff whenever we want to?
Just looking at that photo make me cold.. I love how you caught the snowflacks coming down.. Very cool.Hugs, Linda
Oh, tricky one, because so personal.... My own view? I feel that Christmas trees are for Christmas, not winter, and I love the specialness of how the house looks at that time of year. Decorating too early would make me feel like I was living in a commercial property (the shops are all geared up for major Christmas selling already) rather than at home, and it wouldn't feel special to me at all. But, you know, you're the boss - your house....... your choice!
O snow, that is strange to see. But again now you can hang up the christmas decorations. GreetzTanja
Beautiful!!! Love and miss the snow. Poor Thanksgiving gets lots on the Christmas Spirit. I wait til the day after Thanksgiving. But I'm dieing to put some up already!! LOLKeep warm*hugs*deb
brrrrr this is really cold and aim like you; I hate cold!!so sorry that you have to endure it!...the photos are fabulous!!!
O my...what a snow.....terrible...i hate snow.......good luck darling..........love Ria.....
Yep, it sure would put me in the Christmas decorating mood!!! It sure is pretty too!! I'm 'almost' excited! lolHave a Great day & enjoy a hot cup of tea or cocoa! lolHugs,Coreen
Well I had to look twice, couldn't believe my eyes. It's so sooo much already! You do not like it at all, Catherine, never ever? No snowball fights?Happy hugs for a lovely Tuesday, Catherine xxxx
Oh my word, are you sure you weren't still sleeping and all that white stuff wasn't a nightmare? Those are lovely decorations though. I would certainly want to put them up
Oh Catherine, snow already !Here in Belgium we always look forward to a white Christmas, but that doesn't happen for years now.Your photos are wonderful !Lovely wishes,Sylvia
It seems way too early but you have depicted it beautifully.
Wow! Beautiful snowy scene...(I'm glad it's at your house not mine.) It was 71 the last time I looked! Last year I think we had a foot of snow on the ground already...We are putting up our tree this weekend too. We are having special company that has never seen our house at Christmas so we decided to start early. We're even going to have a holiday party while they are here. :)Have a wonderful rest of the week...
I have to say, I'm looking forward to the first snow at my new place. I say, go for it, the world could use a bit of Christmas style Love! Your photographs are sooo wonderful. I love the street scene. It looks surreal.
Whoa! Winter is there with a bang it seems! Hope you stay cozy and warm inside!
Hi Catherine, As much as I love snow, I wouldn't put my Christmas tree up yet... I like to celebrate our Thanksgiving FIRST --and then put up the tree and decorations after Thanksgiving.Hugs,Betsy
If I had decorations that gorgeous, I'd keep them up ALL YEAR!!! YES, by all means, put them up like yesterday! :)Want a couple of guests over for Christmas? hehe!
Pretty! We should be getting snow here fairly soon...it's been such a mild fall!I think you can put up your tree whenever you'd like to do it :)
