Let's catch up!

Hello!
Oh my stars ~ it feels like I have been away for so long!
What have I been up to?
Working on some course assignments that's what.
I write my final exam next Friday
and have to finish up one more assignment
and then I am done.
Hooray!

After the snow last week
we had a surprising 21c (70F) today.
And I came home to a weed
growing in the driveway.

I don't know...
with all the brown surrounding me
a little yellow is always welcome...

even if it's in the form of a weed! :)

Now, I am off to catch up with all of you
my lovely friends.

Have a Happy Weekend!

I like the depth of field in your photo. Amazing where nature can establish itself if we give it the chance.

It's amazing that late in the year, even a dandylion is appreciated.

I thought I had cornered the market on that type of weed as my grass is full of them. That one must have escaped and gone on an overseas trip.
Happy Weekend to you too. XX

I still love dandelions..

we used to pick them ...along with other little flowers we could find...for a bouquet for Mom.... she loved them. Well, she used to say she did...but, then... your kids bring you a wilted, crushed bouquet of weeds...whaddya going to say?

It Looks so pretty, even though it's only a weed... Hope you have a great weekend my friend.

I love dandelions, they are so bright and cheerful and what constitutes a weed anyway? I think they are just a misunderstood wildflower and a great source of pollen for bees in spring before any other flowers are in bloom!!

Great photo! I'm wondering if you had to lay on your belly to get that shot. Hmmm.

Yay for finals to be here next week! Hope the final assignments go well!

Hugs to you and Banjo! Have a great weekend!

It's snowing and blowing and freezing and damp and just nasty out there. So, I liked your dandelion photo.
Thanks for popping by. I will surely miss little Rae-Rae as we did bond so tight but I am happy she has a good home and that she is one of the lucky ones. YES, PLEASE put up your tree and click away and let us see the glorious results. I will be enjoying not only my own but all my cat-sitting clients' Christmas trees and can't wait. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x5

Oh, how lovely this dandelion flower looks! Leaning on the pavement it looks like posing for you. I love the way you took this photo with the clear subject in the middle and with the blur all around what gives this photo wonderful DOF. This is so beautiful and charming photo!
Happy weekend to you too, my friend!

Lovely picture, Catherine !
Seeing that yellow flower feels like spring, like my white violets. Here in every garden center you can find violets these days.
Good luck with the final exam !
Enjoy your weekend,

Your photos are all great, but how you took this yellow flower with angular focus, i really don't know. Is there a lens which do that! Amazing.
