Discombobulate

Things that discombobulate me:

Hot chocolate that will not mix
no matter the number of times you stir it.

Beautiful animals
killed and stuffed
and used in retail stores
to sell items.

Wings of a dead fly
stuck on a spider web
attached to an ornamental cherry.

The inner workings
of a really big clock.

A blue glass bug
in the middle of nowhere
missing his wings.

A black frame
left up against
a wagon wheel.

A long white fence
leading nowhere.

Mondays...

Discombobulate huh? That's a big word for me to think about on Monday! :) Why does hot chocolate not mix all the time? Sometimes that happens with chocolate pudding and chocolate milk too. Hmmmm. Maybe some chocolate mix conspiracy.

I don't like seeing animals stuffed. It always bothers me.

I love the black frame against the wagon wheel and the fence line leading nowhere. Wonderful photos.

Oh My Goodness...... yes---we get discombobulated, don't we?????? I get discombobulated when it never rains here (like I can do something about it....) ha

I get discombobulated when I lose my glasses --or can't find my water container---or forget what I'm looking for.... Shall I do on ?????? ha ha

Have a good week.
Hugs,
Betsy

I have a way to make hot chocolate that turns out creamy smooth!! I add just a small amount of milk to the mix, and stir it till all the chocolate is dissolved, then mike it for 15-20 seconds, stir again then add the rest of the milk. Mike til hot and no debris! I make my own though from real cocoa, sugar and milk.
But anyway, your pictures are awesome, and your post brought me a laugh and a smile!!

Interesting images ; )

When the hot chocolate won't mix though — don't drink it!

Spiders build their webs in the strangest places sometimes. We have one that keeps doing it on the front porch in front of the door. Everyday I walk into & thereby destroy this creation, and curse this creature for ding the same insane thing yet again... Oh, spiders!

Anyway, beautiful photos!

Well that's a big word, I had to look it up to be sure of it's meaning. Now I have to think about what discombobulates me.
Have a Happy Week, hope it's not a discombobulated one. XX

Hello Catherine, thank you for the visit on my blog and the nice comment. Please feel free to come back at any time.
I like the post over Monday:
Monday's are always the most difficult day for me when the workweek started. Yesterday I was free from work, so today is a kind of monday for me.;-(

Kind regards
Tanja

Hi, dear Cat!

I've had another enjoyable ol' catch up! (I wasn't too far behind, this time.) Somehow, seeing you celebrate Thanksgiving propels me into the season. (That, and the way that the leaves are just DROPPING off the tree in the front, at the moment. =O)

I'm glad that Banjoy (oh, I don't think that I'll fix that typo =]) is doing okay - even though.....

I love the photos of the animals and the flowers and the butterflies (wow!) but the series of photos of the boys and the dinosaur........ well, I got a good hearty laugh out of that!

"Happy, happy autumn!" We say it back and forth and over and over but we do love it!

Love, Katy

Beautiful pictures, Catherine! Thank you so much for sharing. :o) But I hate to be the one to break it to you... the water has to be hot for the chocolate to dissolve. LOL! (Just teasing.)

Have a great day!

That clock is spectacular! I could see myself watching its workings for a very long time.

What kind of chocolate would that be?!?!?! I wouldn't trust chocolate that doesn't melt.
