Wow! You have changing colors already?? I noticed a tree or two here, but nothing as brilliant as that. I like the smell of wet leaves--it has a sweet smell.
I'm loving the light and the colors here!
I too love the light in this photo as well as the colors of the leaves and touching blue sky in the blur background.
I just love to see fall colors.. we don't see much of those colors here in the desert..
IT'S SO TRUE ISN'T IT?THE COLOURS DON'T LAST LONG ENOUGH...AND YET THEY ARE SO INSPIRATIONAL TO LOOK AT!YOUR PHOTO HERE IS LOVELY!HAVE YOURSELF A WONDERFUL DAY!AND THANKS SO MUCH FOR COMING TO SEE ME!CIAO BELLACREATIVE CARMELINA
That picture is quite calming.
This time of year is so beautiful, but here in Minneapolis, same thing: far too wet...Pearl
Hi, Cat! I thought of you on Monday! I saw your post and my heart tugged hard to get you out of bed and to make you happy. Did you feel it???? I always wondered if that would work. You are SO funny about the Queen and your 3D glasses!I am so glad that it didn't snow. I don't know, that just kind of seems wrong! I am sad about your soggy garden, too, though. Did I mention, however, that we've been having a terrible drought all year. Even the winter was lacking in snow. People's wells have run dry. The ground has been far too crunchy. We've had a little bit of rain - finally. Not enough to catch us up but, at least, the hills are a little green again. That's important when you live in Vermont, no? Apparently, though, it's good for the tomatoes......
Very nice thought for the day. The picture is very pretty. We have trees here with some color changes but not too much.
Hello Catherine, just say that I love your fall picture, beautiful colors and thanks for your lovely comment on nuts post...have a beautiful evening or day because here in Belgium it is evening...Ingrid
Our trees are starting to turn too and they are pretty but I'm so not ready! Hope your leaves dry out so they crunch!
Gorgeous! It's not quite time down here, in fact we're looking at the 90s tomorrow as summer gives its last hurrah. Missing the crisp and crunch though... sad.
You're right, Autum colors SHOULD last much longer. Our trees are still quite green, I can't wait for the change! (Love this photo) XO
euh love the image very much ..took me out of my dull office :Dhave a great day!XoXo
I noticed a silver maple yesterday that was a lovely coral and lemon color...I was surprised, it seems early. I thought of you when I saw it. (LOL, Catherine would take a great picture of that tree!)
It's a beautiful picture! I love autumn colors - red, yellow, orange... I hope autumn is a little longer so we can enjoy the color more.
The colors and light in this are perfect.
