Haha, I have missed a bit too, in blogland...But I´ve almost catched up =).I agree, the summer is really here, we´ve had 4 days of sun, and tomorrow is sunny too.Must be summer!can´t wait to see , what your plan is for your 700 post =).Have a lovely reading with your cup of tea, and a happy day!Hugs/Luiza
I'm finding it difficult to keep up with the reading these days too! So much to do! But, I think everyone is in the same boat.
Summer has been here for a over a month now. Temps in the high nineties. Those flowers are really pretty. Is the top one a thistle?? Are they all wild flowers?? Sometimes wild flowers are prettier than the ones we plant. Have a great week.
From the mum-Oh wow. They sure make the wait worthwhile, don't they. The first two look a little dangerous, which of course means I'd love to touch them all the more! Haha!Infidel is on my reading list. I'd be interested to hear what you think of it :)
The flowers are so beautiful! The pictures turned out so vivid in color, amazing! Have fun catching up!
I was about to say I didn't see much of a downside...
hot colours for hot weather - it is here too ! Too hot for me - I'm staying in the shade !
The downside to summer for me is Heat mixed with Hot flashes.... did I just admit that online? Must be the heat causing me to be so forthcoming!! hahahahaLovely images. Happy Monday to you!
What a variety of beautiful wildflowers. Summer here brought pretty severe thunderstorms.
Wonderful pictures, Catherine! I love taking photographs of flowers, actually I love taking pictures of anything...Have a great week!

Beautiful photos, what lovely flowers.Oh, to the lazy days of summer!I'll let you borrow my kids for a few days, there's no taking a break here:)
I do love wild flowers. Is that a prickly pear? Probably not as mine is yellow. Stop by my "other" blog if you have time. Troutbirder focuses on nature rather than Troutbirder II where I tend toward silly rants and bad jokes. :)
The new look for your blog looks great! I love your pretty prairie flowers, and so glad summer is here! I know what you mean....3 hot sunny days in a row...wooohoo!!
I totally understand :0) I am also under Summer's spell. Enjoy! XOXO
