Does nature have a forgiving heart?

While it's a nice thought:

if you lay among the flowers
and keep an open mind
you may be chosen
to witness something magical
something only those
with imagination
can hear and see

~~~~~~~~~~~~
The reality is:
to all of nature effected by
oil spills
land development
chemicals
human 'advancement'
...please forgive us...
Oh I love that commercial too!!! So sad what is happening I can't even talk about it without getting all choked up. Love the photos, you are beginning to inspire me to go and get some photography classes :0) Thank you xo
Those are such pretty pictures of the flowers. And I certainly don't think Nature should forgive for this horrible thing that has happened with the oil spill. I still can't believe that no one can come up with a solution. The BP people should pay for all those animals to be relocated. There just has to be a way.
This whole situation has me so upset. I can't watch any more coverage of these poor animals washing up on the shores. And the long term effects are horrifying. I think we need to stop with the Drill Baby Drill, and put stricter regulations on these companies. I'm sick to my stomach.
Lovely flowers and sentiment; sad photos of the wild life in my area...South Louisiana really needs a break, this is such a devastating situation...Bless the people helping the animals to survive.
I so wish this fiasco would just end, and I feel for all the creatures affected.
It is terrible how we abuse this earth and it is so hard to watch. We should hope that nature is forgiving, but really, we're not very deserving.
We lived in Alaska when the Exxon Valdez spilled oil in Prince William sound and "Dawn" was used to help there, and ever since then, I've always purchased it...Of course I'll keep doing that! I've gotten so I can't stand to watch the news any longer, because of the horrific loss of everything in that region. I actually feel selfish because my corner of the world is so beautiful right now...I wish there was something I could do...
Oh we humans do so much damage to our world, don't we, Catherine???? GADS! Every time I see those oily birds, I just cry. But--this morning I saw them releasing two pelicans they had cleaned up... I smiled... They are saving a few of them.
Great post, Catherine.
Hugs,
Betsy
Wonderful interplay here that hope and action will save the day for nature.
Your flower photos are lovely! As for what's happening to the birds and sea life in the Gulf, it just breaks my heart and makes me so sick. I feel so helpless and am so confused on why they haven't stoped the damage after all this time.
The Dawn commercial is very cute and I'm thankful they are helping the animals caught in all the mess.
It is so upsetting. I have to turn away when they show the birds on the news..makes me cry.
But on a more positive note, where did you get that sweet font? The one you used on your images? I love it!
