Did you get some help/some training, Catherine??? I had been a PC user for years and years ---and when I changed to my mac (in 2004), my hubby taught me everything I needed to know about it. It's great---but different.. You'll LOVE it --once you learn it. Find an Apple Store and get some training. You will be glad you did...I'm a Mac user now--and I would NEVER go back to a PC----NEVER.Hugs,Betsy
Ohhhh, I love my MAC ... it is different, so give yourself time.
oh ya baby! IMac that is exciting and I hear it is quite a bit different than PC but once you know the ropes it is the best! Tom is going to get one for his next laptop, he says. Enjoy learning Catherine.
Squeeee.... great new toy, Catherine! We'll patiently wait while you play... errr... learn!!
Lovely! Once you get used to it, you'll wonder why you didn't switch over sooner. I was completely sold after a few months. Oh! If you live near an Apple store, sometimes they have training sessions FOR FREE that you can sign up for on the genius bar. Also, there's a great and HELPFUL community online that can answer any question you might ever dream of having.
Sounds great a new Mac! I want one in the future (they look so neat) but i'm afraid i will not know how to use it. I'd love to read how you get on with it. xx
Once you get the hang of it you will love it. Check out some of the tutorial type thingys at:http://www.myfirstmac.com/index.php/mac/categories/C7/http://www.switchingtomac.com/category/tutorials/general-software/
Is it me or does it seem to take us longer to learn new things as we get older?? Good luck--I'm sure you will master it in no time!
Thanks Brian! I will do that. You are right Lin ~ I think as I get older I want to spend less time learning ~ and more time 'doing'!Indeed ~ practice practice!
