In Hopes of a Simple Smile

Some days I really can't think of anything funny, interesting or profound to say. So here's some photos of some ladybugs that seem to be in abundance lately.

And I know that once you've seen one ladybug you've seen them all...

Still...

I hope these ones make you smile today! :)

Here's a question for you --since I know nothing about Ladybugs other than the fact that they stink if you accidentally squash one... Yuk!!!!! SO---are there MEN ladybugs???? I'm sure there are --since they multiply so much.... Guess they are called Manbugs, huh?????? ha ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Great shots of the ladybugs Catherine, catching them with the wings showing is really difficult.

Well Betsy...that is a good question. And since I have a particular photo of two ladybugs seeming to be getting 'their groove on'... I would suggest that one was no 'lady'...if you know what I mean. :) Ha!

How strange...only yesterday I found 2 ladybirds in my dining room trying to climb the window! Of course I let them out into the lovely sunshine and hopefully they found their way home...lovely photos...thank you...

They're called ladybirds, over here, and no one minds them; I sometimes wonder if we'd feel differently about them if they were a dull brown colour.....
