Performing My Wifely Duties...

Once a year I break down and perform my 'wifely duties'... and I go watch one of Wayne's hockey games...

{last year's wifely duties}

I used to go and watch lots of his games
and then I got the ol' engagement ring...
after that I never felt the need to go watch him any more

I think he still loves me...

heehee, that's great :) How did his game turn out? Did he win?
Doug's game is golf. I like to play too, but it's his second love in life ;)

I remember last year's post on watching Wayne's hockey game and you cheering him on by saying "go time go"! you crack me up! Once a year wifely duty is enough me thinks too.

Hey kittykye ~ yes his team actually won. Wayne is actually the youngest guy on his team (he's44). He scored 2 goals. He's a sports nut but golf is his first sport love ~ he just plays hockey to fill in his winter until golf season starts! Ha!

Yay for scoring 2 goals - that is awesome!

Wow, 2 goals is actually really awesome! Go Wayne!
Doug doesn't really have an off-season sport, other than 'watching' hockey/golf/etc, and playing video games. Such a kid at heart (at... 37.. lol!), but I love him nonetheless. ;)
Somehow I see Wayne and him getting along :D

Congrats to Wayne for scoring 2 goals! Seems like Hockey and Canada goes hand in hand. I enjoy watching hockey but don't have the chance to see it very much. We used to go to the Colorado Avalanche games when we lived in CO - I think they were a former Canadian team before going to Denver. The games are very exciting!

Oh I love sports, Catherine... After having a Daddy who loved sports, then marrying a man (1st hubby) who loved sports and then having THREE sons---I developed a huge LOVE for sports. However, I don't know anything about hockey.. My sports of choice are football, basketball and baseball---with football being my favorite.

I'm sure IF George played sports, I'd be right there with him at ALL of the games. But---I'm not your typical female!!!! ha

Hugs
Betsy

I wonder what Wayne's husbandly duties are then?

I'm not a fan of any sport, but ice hockey does look exciting.
I love seeing your Canadian lifestyle, so very different from "Down Under".

He is lucky he is married to you, I am not sure I could manage it. You must love him! (If it was my Sweet Husband, I probably would do it to, but I am glad it's not).
Your posts are always fun.

LOL! My husband plays soccer and I think I've watched 2 games. I told him he could come watch me in my aerobics class!

Not so bad to have to go to a game once a year! Don is a golfer - I let him watch the games on TV but it is not my thing.

I think once you have kids you shouldn't have to go cheer on the men anymore. Right?

Prints the Cat ~ I asked Wayne what his "husbandly duty" was...he couldn't think of anything he does for me only once per year. Ha!
