Reflect Before the Holiday Season

Sigh of relief...it's Friday once again.

As we start on that road to one of the busiest times of the year, let’s take a moment to reflect before we proceed to that crazy mad dash known as the Holiday Season. Let’s really think about the fact that:

~ If it takes us so long to think of what to buy someone, does the person really need it?
~ If we don’t attend every holiday party invite we receive, will we really be social out-casts?
~ Does the neighbour really need to put that 9 ft blow-up plastic Santa on his front lawn?
~ Does Fluffy or Spot really need to wear that Reindeer outfit for family pictures?
~ For Christmas dinner, do we really need 4 types of salads, 3 kinds of pies, 2 different veggies and a Partridge in a Pear Tree?

Do we...?

Really...?

Hmmm...let’s reflect on that thought for a few days shall we?

Have a wonderful day!

In previous years, mum has been crazy about trying to make Christmas perfect. This year, she'll be scrubbing litterboxes and cleaning cages. And this is the Christmas she is most looking forward to, too:) Your message is a very good one.

Very good points to ponder Cat. And no, the pets do not need to wear that Reindeer outfit!
